RAH Board members profile


President: Danny Stevanski and his family have lived in Hinckley for almost two years now. "We cannot say enough about the youth baseball program and how it has helped fold us into the community. More importantly, we feel it is a great way to introduce our youth to team sport, build and develop their character & teamwork, and enhance their confidence. Danny has a daughter Harper, 9, and son, Baron, 7, who have played in Rookies for two years in both softball & baseball respectively. He has been both a head coach and assistant coach in each league. He was elected in 2023 and is hoping to continue with a community development. He has a genuine passion to help develop kids with sports as RAH rec baseball director. 

Vice President:  Nichole (Nicki) Grambo lives in Sharon Township with her husband Bobby and two daughters Angela and Vivian, who both play softball.  Nicki is proud to carry out the legacy of her father who was president of Revere’s Recreation Association and her grandfather who was a founding member of Woodridge’s Recreation Association.

Treasurer: Lindsay moved to the Sharon area with her husband, Bill, daughter, Sawyer, and stepsons, Heath and Graham, in 2020. Sawyer is actively involved in softball and loves being part of the softball community. Lindsay is excited to support RAH and help create opportunities for kids to grow, learn, and enjoy sports in a fun and supportive environment. She also has a wealth of knowledge and experience with project management, analysis and budget and will be a great addition to RAH. She started her term in 2025. 

Secretary: Stephanie Whitling has been acting secretary for 4 years now. She lives in Granger Twp. with her husband Kyle and 4 active kids, who play many sports. She looks forward to improving RAH’s program and putting the members in place to keep athletes challenged and have access to facilities and excellent coaching so they stay within the Highland system. 

Director of Rec Baseball: Brian Brandenburg

Director of Rec Softball: Henry Koon, along with his wife Emily, reside in Wadsworth with their daughter Murphy (7), who goes to Sharon Elementary. They relocated to Wadsworth from Cleveland's suburbs in October 2020. Henry currently serves as the Recreational Softball Director and coaches Murphy's 8U softball team. His commitment to public service and community value have led him to join the RAH organization, contributing to the thriving Softball Program. If you're interested in coaching or volunteering, don't hesitate to reach out to him!

Director of Travel Baseball: Jason Huber and his wife Gina live in Sharon Township and they have two son’s, Hudson and Hayden. Jason has ensured the top talent in our community at each age group is playing high level baseball for Highland Travel. The travel baseball program has established a strong reputation in North East Ohio as one of the best community based travel programs in the area competing against club level teams. 

Director of Travel Softball: Jamez Griffin. A lifelong supporter of youth athletics, Jamez Griffin has been actively involved in coaching softball since 2009. From 2011 until relocating from North Carolina in 2021, he coached multiple travel and club softball teams throughout the state while competing across the southeastern United States. During that time, he helped develop athletes who went on to sign with Division I, II, and III college programs.

As the Director of Travel Softball for the Recreation Association of Highland, Jamez brings over 15 years of coaching and leadership experience to the program. He is passionate about building strong fundamentals, promoting player development, and creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can grow both individually and as teammates. His focus is on developing well-rounded players while fostering confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.

Jamez lives in Sharon Township with his wife Corrine and their daughters Amira (17) and Jamila (11). He also has an older daughter, Jamari (24), who resides in North Carolina. Coach Griffin is excited to continue strengthening the Highland travel softball program and shaping the next generation of athletes—on the field and in life.

Director of T-Ball / Basher Ball: Jason Ciocca has been the acting director of T-ball for the last 2 years.  He lives in Montville Township with his wife Dawn and 3 children, Frankie, Mack and Tenley.  Jason has been coaching Frankie’s and Mack’s softball and baseball teams the last couple of years. Both Frankie and Mack attend Sharon Elementary School while Tenley is in preschool.  He is a Physical Education teacher at Woodridge Elementary School located in Peninsula, Ohio.  Jason is thankful for the opportunity to be volunteering for the Recreation Association of Highland.  

Director of Adult Co-ed softball: Alicia Mostellor is developing this new program. She is originally from the Highland area and has 2 girls that play softball and are active in 4-H. She lives in Hinckley with her husband. 

Director of Marketing: Ryan Corrao and his wife, Megan, live in Hinckley with their two kids that very much enjoy the RAH programs.  He is currently a realtor with Century 21 DePiero and Associates. In addition, he comes from a long background in public service.  Ryan hopes to take fundraising and marketing for RAH to the next level. Keeping the recreation programs strong is a vital part of our community. As Director of Rec Baseball I promise to do my part. I look forward to hearing from everyone on how we can improve and make the recreation department enjoyable for our children and the adults alike.”

Director of Fields / Facilities: Josh Budi joined RAH in 2025. He and his wife Kellie, have lived in Hinckley since 2008 and have 3 kids in the Highland district. All 3 are very active with baseball, rugby, basketball and cheer. Josh has also been coaching youth football and baseball for several years. His experience with building and maintenance will help him step into this role and further enhance RAH facilities.

Director of Activities: Elaina Kenyon has lived in Granger Township since 2021 along with her husband, Chad, and their two daughters, Aria (8) and Audrina (6). Both of her girls love to play softball and Elaina & Chad have both been volunteering as coaches and team helpers since 2022. Elaina brings a strong organizational & project management background to the RAH and she passionately enjoys supporting the Highland community.  Outside of the RAH you will also find Elaina volunteering as a squad coach for Highland Youth Cheer as well as the leader of the annual Granger Elementary Talent Show.

Director of Basketball: Joe Capotosta

Director of Rugby: Chris Wheaton lives in Montville Township with his with Jody, and two daughters, Megan and Emily.
Both girls attend Highland Schools and are active players in the rugby program. Chris has been a coach for the Middle School Girls Rugby team for the past 5 years and assistant coach to the High School Girls Fall Sevens team for 2 seasons. Almost 2 years ago, Highland Rugby became part of RAH, which is when he took on the role of Director of RAH Rugby. In addition to coaching rugby, he has coached T-ball, 8U Softball and Middle School Wrestling in the past.
