RAH Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct

All RAH parents/guardians are required to agree to and sign the following Code of Conduct in order to participate in RAH. Any parent/guardian who conducts themselves in a manner found to be detrimental to the welfare of RAH may be removed from participating in this organization temporarily or permanently.

The goal of RAH is to provide a rewarding youth program while promoting positive life skills and strong character development.

As a supportive parent/guardian:

  • I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, managers and officials at every game, practice, or other league related event.
  • I will not taunt, ridicule or argue with any umpire, player, coach, official, parent, or fan.
  • I will be respectful and courteous to all players, coaches, managers, officials, and spectators regardless, of race, sex, creed, or abilities.
  • I will place the emotional and physical well- being of all children ahead of the desire to win.
  • I will remember that this is a youth sports program and we are here for the children, not the adults.
  • I will remember that the coaches and managers are volunteering their time.
  • I will support the coaches, managers and officials working with the children in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
  • I will insure that my child will be at every practice and game and will notify their coach in advance if my child is not able to attend.
  • I will have my child at practices and games on time and in proper uniform.
  • I will help my child learn the rules of the game.
  • I will remember that sports are an opportunity to learn and have fun.

Failure to comply with any provision of the Code of Conduct will result in appropriate action being taken by an umpire, coach, or board member up to and including expulsion and /or banishment of the offending person(s) from current and/or future games and practices.
