Rec Fast-Pitch Softball - Junior League

Instructional League where game play is at its truest form to allow players the opportunity to improve their skills prior to potentially transitioning to a school based program. Players ages 13 and 14, as of May 1st for this year's season, will play in the Junior League.

The Season:

• Registration will be open in January.
• The season runs from mid-April to end of June.
• Games will begin in early May.
• RAH plays in the Community Softball League(CSL) with teams from Cloverleaf, Copley, Highland, Revere & West Akron.
• Travel distance is typically within a 10-40 mile radius from Highland area.
• Cost is $170 per player.
• Games are played weekly and could be scheduled on weeknights and weekends.
• Practice is based on field and coach availability and will be scheduled on a team by team basis.
• Uniforms: RAH will provide each player with a team shirt and socks.
• Team equipment supplied by RAH: Batting helmets and catchers' gear to be shared with team.
• Required player equipment: glove, bat, softball pants, softball face mask, softball cleats, and personal helmet.
